Group event- Mini Olympic
For this free choices photography project, I started preparing for it in the beginning of the fall semester. I choosed the anaul event Mini Olympic from my fellowship as my topic. More about Mini Olympic: "As dawn spills onto the freshly spray painted field and the crisp smell of the morning air mixes with that of hotdogs and burgers on the grill, a distant chanting can be heard—the sound of Mini-Olympics! Mini-Olympics is a much anticipated event where small groups compete in fun games that test skill, speed and strength. But most of all, the day is designed to bring the small groups and the whole church closer through friendly competition and fellowship."
This is Joel. He is a professional photographer for the event. I take this photo when he was taking a photo of me. This is the welcoming session of Mini Olympic. When the groups walk in, all other people on the side cheers for us. I think it is a very fun moment. I love the colorful light reflects around the len of his camera, I also love the structure of the photo that I put him in the middle. This makes the focal point of the picture very clear.

When the referee present the rules of this mini olympic. They used performance show us the sprit of this sports event, and also the sprit of our fellowship.
I captured this moment when he is shouting.
One of the games. The guy who is rotating the baskeball is Kevin. I captured this moment when he was smiling, and the two referees are focusing on him and cheering for him.
The victory moment. I love the colors of the photo. The bright yellow and green make the photo having a really bright key tone. I hope my captures can make people happy and excited for life!
The girl in the middle Carolyn is from my small group. Bridging the gap: All the guys run and use their body to be the bridge and a girl climb though the bridge as fast as she can. I cropped the photo to make the focal point is on her.
